Groupmax Version 3 was developed on the assumption that constructing a creative strategic office enables the following:
New style of sharing information using Push, Pull, Mobile, and Agent facilities
- You can quickly search for valuable information within a wide range of information.
Once you set the conditions for a search, Groupmax automatically collects information and registers it as documents. So, you do not have to waste time collecting information. You can also search for information you want from among all the sources of information in the enterprise.
The result of a search is displayed ranked, with summaries of the documents.
- From Pull to Push You can get most recent information in real time
In addition to the Pull type facility above, Groupmax supports a Push facility for sharing information. If you register the type of information you want, Groupmax automatically sends you new information as Groupmax receives it. You can select Groupmax Mail or E-mail as the destination of sending information.
- You got a more powerful facility for sharing information.
You can easily create a memorandum as if you were using a word processor. You can also define the settings for using view and start forms for each user. Therefore, you can control the access permission.
- Even outside of the office, you can access your mail or documents in real time using an enriched mobile facility.
You can use the mail facility in a mobile environment, so you can access information in real time. You can also minimize the cost of sending and receiving mail by automatically sending and receiving mail in a batch.
- You can perform mobile computing with hand-held PCs
You can send or receive mail at low cost to or from mobile computers where Windows CE is installed, because Groupmax supports POP3. You can also synchronize the schedule data of Windows CE and Groupmax.
- You can automate business cycles or save work in business cycles by using Agent.
A ready-made Agent menu is added to Groupmax for your use in business.
