Groupmax Options

Groupmax provides Server and Client Options as well as basic Server and Client Sets. Install the options you need.

Object management

Groupmax High-end Object Server Version 2.0

Provides the following special features to implement higher performance and reliability than those provided in any Server Set.

• Using backup and journal files helps restore data to the state it was in immediately before an error occurred.
• To enable faster processing, updating data in batches is possible in huge business systems.

E-mail

Groupmax Mail - SMTP Version 2.0

Connects Groupmax Mail to systems that support the SMTP protocol.

Groupmax Mail - X.400 Version 2.0

Sends e-mail between Groupmax domains by using the X.400 protocol.

Groupmax Mail - Administrator Utilities Version 2.0

Collects statistical information, such as the amount of mail sent, referenced and received by each user.

Groupmax Address Server - Replication Option Version 2.0

Reduces the overload on the system management server distributing address information, and lowers the cost of communications.

Workflow

Groupmax Workflow Multi-Server Version 2.0

- Controls flows between servers in a multiple server environment.

- Controls flows between business processes in a single server environment.

Groupmax High-end Workflow Server Version 2.0

- Licensed for additional accesses to multiple workflow databases when you want to improve response time and throughput of a business system that processes many work-items

- Lets you access two more (up to 32) databases simultaneously for each additional license.

Groupmax Workflow Version 2.0 for Exchange

Notifies the mail box of the Exchange Server when new mail is delivered to the user tray in a workflow.

Groupmax Form Server - Processing Option Version 2.0

Links to BUSINESSPOWER products such as ISAM, JP1, ODBC, SORT, and so on.

Groupmax Form - Extension Version 2.0 for World Wide Web

Links to Groupmax Form Version 2.0 for World Wide Web and lets you use extended Form features from the Web browser.

Fax linkage

Groupmax Fax - Gateway Version 2.0

Relays the e-mail server and fax machine. Faxes can be sent as e-mail and e-mail as faxes.

Voice mail

Groupmax Voice Mail - Gateway Version 2.0

Sends and plays voice mail messages from the phone.

HITFILE linkage

Groupmax Mail - HITFILE Gateway Version 2.0

Searches data registered in HITFILE, sends e-mail to other PCs and exchanges image data on the PC.

Directory management

Groupmax Directory Server Version 2.0

Accesses address information between Groupmax systems by using the de facto standard LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol).

You can send mail from your Groupmax system by searching or browsing addresses in other Groupmax systems.

System integration management

Groupmax System Agent - Extension Version 2.0

Extends the following features for the Integrated groupware system included in Groupmax Sets for a server:

• Collects operation information.
• Notifies you when the database is reconfigured.
• Collects error information in batches.
• Starts, stops, monitors, or displays the status of each component.
• Specifies parameters when the system starts or stops.
• Extends Groupmax Set features for a server.

Development kit

Groupmax Workflow Server - Library Version 2.0

Provides an interface with Optimized C++ to configure a business application that uses the Workflow server.

Groupmax Document Manager - Development Kit Version 2.0

Use C to create a user application that operates on the document server.

Groupmax Agent - Development Kit Version 2.0

Provides the library and header for C or C++ to create a server agent. Also provides sample coding for the Java class library to use with Java.

Groupmax Workflow - Agent Version 2.0

Monitors the date when a work-item in Workflow expires and provides templates for the server agent that starts the user program.

Uses e-mail to help collect and accumulate opinions, and to report its results.

Links to Groupmax Mail to easily send or receive voice mail messages.

HITFILE linkage

Groupmax Mail - HITFILE Connection Version 2.0

Searches and displays data registered in HITFILE, sends e-mail to other PCs and exchanges image data on the PC.

Fax linkage

Groupmax Fax Client Version 2.0

Displays and edits fax messages received as e-mail or sends non-Groupmax data to fax machines.

Workflow

Groupmax Workflow Definer Version 2.0

Defines visually the flow of work and the workers in Workflow.

Groupmax Workflow Monitor Version 2.0

Monitors the operation status in a business process* and, if necessary, provides an operation monitor to operate the work and work-items. *A business process is the procedure where instructions are passed among workers.

Groupmax Workflow Simulator Version 2.0

Simulates the performance of the business process that was defined visually.

Electric forms

Groupmax Form Client - Design Version 2.0

Develops electric forms used in e-mail or a workflow.

Groupmax Form Client - Tools Version 2.0

Installs features for checking entries on the electric form and for editing the display and storage formats. This program is used to develop a form.

Groupmax Form Client - Tools Runtime Version 2.0

Runs features installed by Groupmax Form Client Tools.

Groupmax Form Client - ODBC Version 2.0

Lets you use databases of the ODBC interface in Groupmax Form Client or Groupmax Form Client - Design.

Groupmax Form Client Version 2.0 for Lotus Notes

Accesses a Lotus Notes database from an electric form in Groupmax.

Groupmax Form Version 2.0 for World Wide Web

Creates a Java applet-based form, which was originally created in Groupmax Form Client - Design, and lets you access the electric form from the Web browser.

Groupmax Directory Client Version 2.0

Uses the LDAP protocol to browse or search for address information in hierarchical order in organizations in other domains from the display of the destination where e-mail is sent.
