Hitachi disk array systems have a DoS (denial of service) vulnerability.

[Vulnerability description]

When a Hitachi disk array system receives a malformed SSL packet, one or both of the redundant controllers in the disk array system might stop abnormally.

Note:
Hitachi Unified Storage VM (HUS VM) and Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform series are not affected.

Hitachi Adaptable Modular Storage 2000 Series (AMS2000 Series) and DF800EXS
The problem was fixed with firmware Ver. 08E1/H and higher (Provided in December 2017) .
(for Japan domestic customer, the problem was fixed with firmware Ver. 08E2/H and higher. (Provided in December 2017) )

Disk array systems
Hitachi Unified Storage 100 Series (HUS100 Series)
The problem was fixed with firmware Ver. 0985/J and higher (Provided in December 2017) .
