The development environment in the Groupmax ASP (Active Server Pages) environment is shown below.

• In addition to electronic forms with Form Client and electronic forms in a Java Applet version used from a Web browser, you can use ASP-version electronic forms that operate in the Microsoft ASP environment usable from a Web browser.
• Workflow forms in an ASP environment that were developed with Microsoft Visual InterDev in the past can now be generated from the Groupmax electronic form function (optional operation and development product - development support client option product Groupmax Form Client - Design). This has reduced development time from one third to one tenth of the conventional time.

(1) Outline of functions

The workflow ASP development kit supplies design time controls for simple tasks such as creating form shelves, the INBOX, and transmission logs in Microsoft Visual InterDev, and provides templates for tasks such as destination specification, sending back, and transfer. These functions enable you to construct a workflow Web application without writing any script when using the optional execution environment product - Web linkage function extended option Groupmax Workflow Version 5 for Active Server Pages.

Design time control is one of the control functions usable in Microsoft Visual InterDev. It generates scripts for executing supported functions from each control function.
The design time control supplied by Groupmax Workflow - Development Kit for ASP automatically generates scripts satisfying each function of Groupmax Workflow such as reception tray display and form shelf display.

Templates are Web pages on which each of the Groupmax Workflow functions is incorporated. These Web pages consist of several ASP files, in which necessary scripts are already described, and several image files to be referenced when displayed by the Web browser.
