and the work status of users. If they find problems in the course of this monitoring,
they can use the business management functions to re-order priorities, to make adjustments in the amount of work assigned to users, and to generally improve the conditions under which the work is being done.
What Groupmax Workflow Monitor can do
Monitoring functions
The monitoring functions are for tracking the status of jobs being performed with
Groupmax Workflow. The following are examples of what can be done using the

Tracking job status from various perspectives
The following types of information can be tracked with Workflow Monitor:
Business process operation status
Role job status
User job status
Work processing status
Work-items processing status
Tracking information based on referred information
The use of tree architecture makes it possible to use information to track related
information. For example, it is possible to track business information, then to go further
to a specified business to track information on related users or work-item status.
Tracking job status from a job flow chart (workflow)
Business process flow charts can be used to track information such as the amount of work
currently being processed at individual nodes (work location) or
to which node a job has progressed.
This makes it easy to take in the status of jobs at a glance.
Focusing on critical information for tracking
It is possible, for example, to focus on certain types of information, such as facts
regarding the business process that you yourself are supervising, or facts on work
holding a specific ID. This makes it easier to find critical information when needed.
Business management functions
Business management functions are for improving the status of jobs being performed
with Groupmax Workflow. The following are examples of what can be done using the business management functions:
Operations to ensure that jobs progress smoothly
Using the information tracked by the minitoring functions, Workflow Monitor enables:
Adjustments in job volume
If, for example, work has been piling up on a specific user, it is possible to
redistribute this user's work to other users.
This operation makes it possible to adjust job volume throughout the business process
so that it progress more smoothly.
Changes in response to conditions
It is possible, for example, to move up the processing deadline for jobs which should be processed
quickly, or to cancel work which no longer needs to be processed. This makes it possible to make the corresponding changes in work-items when there are changes in business status.
Operations can be performed on the spot while tracking information
It is possible to make improvements required by the actual situation while monitoring business processes, work, and conditions. For example, operations such as reallocating
work-items or placing temporary holds on work-items can be conducted from the window
where work-item information is being tracked.
