Groupmax Workflow Definer is a tool that supports the automation of business processes. Groupmax Workflow Definer enables you to:

Visualize the business process
Groupmax Workflow Definer uses flow charts of the business process to render it graphically. The job flow can then be checked easily on screen.

Define the business process more efficiently
Icons are used to define the business process so that there is no need for special knowledge. This greatly reduces the labor and time necessary developing business processes.

Check distribution status
Workflow Definer can check the status of the business process, roles, and the distribution of application programs and forms. It is also possible to delete distribution reservations or to add recipient workflow servers.

What Groupmax Workflow Definer can do

The following are some of the benefits associated with using Groupmax Workflow Definer.

Flow charts can be drawn simply
There are two types of nodes: process nodes, which indicate actual processes (jobs), and control nodes, which control flow of the flow chart.
These are displayed on flow charts by use of individual process icons and control icons. In Workflow Definer, the process icons and the control icons are linked by arrows used to link the various icons as screen drawing icons. It is simple to create flow charts by putting these together in the display window.

Complex business processes are easy to comprehend
Indivicual parts of flow charts can be represented by using layer icons. The use of layered definitions makes it possible to define flows in a top down format. This means the overall flow chart can be made more compact, thus making the business process easier to comprehend visually.
