Using the imagemap function of Hitachi Web Server can cause a vulnerability to cross-site scripting. Please note that this vulnerability corresponds to CVE-2007-5000.

Vulnerability description

If you use the imagemap function, when Hitachi Web Server receives a request that contains malicious scripts, Hitachi Web Server automatically creates a web page that contains the scripts, and then they can be executed on a client.

This problem can occur if your system uses the imagemap function of Hitachi Web Server. Affected products and versions are listed below. Please upgrade your version to the appropriate version, or apply the Workarounds.
