An SQL injection vulnerability was found in JP1/NETM/DM Manager (JP1/NETM/DM). Malicious remote users can exploit this vulnerability, and execute arbitrary SQL commands.

Note that JP1/NETM series products are for Japanese systems only. JP1 is an abbreviation for Job Management Partner 1.

Vulnerability description

An SQL injection vulnerability was found in JP1/NETM/DM Manager (for Windows). Malicious users can exploit this vulnerability, execute arbitrary SQL commands, and corrupt a relational database by sending an invalid request to JP1/NETM/DM using that relational database.

Workarounds

Please carry out the following workaround until the fixed modules are available:

  • Set filtering rules on the OS or router so that only reliable hosts can access the ports that JP1/NETM/DM uses.
