If JP1/Cm2/Operations Assist Manager, JP1/Cm2/Operations Assist SubManager or JP1/Cm2/SubManager receive invalid packet data, the OPDAT process that supports the product's operation might stop.

Vulnerability description

If JP1/Cm2/Operations Assist Manager, JP1/Cm2/Operations Assist SubManager or JP1/Cm2/SubManager receive invalid packet data, the OPDAT process that supports the product's operation might stop.
On a Windows platform, if JP1/Cm2/Operations Assist Manager, JP1/Cm2/Operations Assist SubManager or JP1/Cm2/SubManager receive invalid UDP packet data, the OPUDP process might stop. Also, if JP1/Cm2/Operations Assist Agent and JP1/Cm2/Extensible Agent receive invalid UDP packet data, the COMETOPU process might stop.
If any of the above processes for the above JP1/Cm2 Operation Assist products stops, you need to restart the process.

  1. Set filtering rules on the OS or router so that only reliable IP addresses can access the ports that JP1/Cm2 operation assist products use.
