This IC series has not guaranteed the amount of surge voltage durability. Please use a surge suppressor diode. so that applied voltage becomes within the maximum rating.
The package of three types is used for inverter IC series. These are roughly divided and are divided into a package group called SIP (Single in Line Package) and SOP (Small Outline Package).A classification of a package is as follows.

The logic circuit which prevents an arm short circuit is built in the ECN306* series, and ECN3053/3054/30531/30541. However, if it takes into consideration till the delay time of an output of operation, a short circuit state cannot be prevented completely. Therefore, in an incoming signal, it is necessary to prepare the dead time with consideration to output delay time. The over-current detection function attaches the Motor driver IC series.
