概要
Linux環境でTrusted Platform Module(TPM)を有効にしている場合、対象バージョンのService Pack for HA8000V(SPH) を使用し、Smart Update Manager(SUM)でiLO Language Packをアップデートしようとしてもアップデートに失敗します。
現象および影響範囲
Linux環境でTPMを有効にしている場合、対象バージョンのSPHを使用し、SUMでiLO Language Packをアップデートしようとしてもアップデートに失敗し、下記メッセージがログに記録されます。
ERROR: Conflicting command line options [--silent requires --tpmbypass option (Trusted Platform Module is present on this system)]
回避策
LinuxでのiLO Language PackのアップデートにはSUMを使用せず、アップデートファイルから実行してください。
アップデートファイルはSPHのpackagesディレクトリにある“firmware-lpk-ilo-1.30-1.1.x86_64.rpm”です。実行手順は下記の通りです。
- rpmコマンドでアップデートファイルを展開します。
# rpm -ivh firmware-lpk-ilo-1.30-1.1.x86_64.rpm - cdコマンドでアップデートファイルの展開先に移動します。
# cd /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ firmware-lpk-ilo-1.30-1.1/ - setupコマンドでアップデートを実行します。
# ./setup
CAUTION: A Trusted Platform Module (TPM) has been detected in this system.
Failure to perform proper OS encryption procedures will result in loss of
