Q1: What can we accomplish at the ‘Harmonious Center of Competency’?

You can use the servers and storage provided at the Center, and equipment you might bring to the Center in some cases, to perform verification and evaluation on your own. We also offer regular demonstrations and closed group demonstrations that are conducted by our specialist engineers. You can rent the space and equipment of the Center to hold seminars and carry out sales promotions from the Center itself.

Q2: Where is the ‘Harmonious Center of Competency’?

Take the ‘Konan’ Exit of JR Shinagawa station toward the Skyway (pedestrian bridge). You will find the East One Tower on your right. The Center is located on the 13th floor of this building. Please note that the East One Tower is not the JR East Building, which is connected to the JR Shinagawa station building.

Q3: What is the service hours and holidays of the Center?

9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. The Center is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and Hitachi company holidays.

Q4: Can we visit the Center at any time?

You have to apply for a reservation first. Apply to the Hitachi Sales Department.

Q5: How can I apply for a reservation?

Please inform the Hitachi Sales Department of the details of the seminar that you want to hold and then apply for a reservation. The reservation service hours of the Center are from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Please apply for reservation well in advance.

Q6: I do not know of any Hitachi Sales Department contact office.

Please contact the Center for information about the Hitachi Sales Department.

Q7: Can we eat and drink at the Center?

You can have beverages at the Center but no food is allowed.

Q8: We plan to hold demonstrations for our clients. Can we use the PC equipment of the seminar room even if our demonstrations are for a small number of participants?

You can select a room in accordance with your needs. Please consult the Center staff.

Q9: Is there a charge for using the Center's facilities/equipment?

Basically they are free of charge. You will be charged only when your seminar/meeting exceeds our designated time. Contact the Hitachi Sales Department for inquiries on the time and charge.

Q10: How can we bring in large-size equipment to the Center?

To bring in large-sized or a large number of equipment to the Center, you need authorization to use a service elevator. Contact the Hitachi Sales Department for inquiries on this matter.

Q11: We plan to bring in our equipment to the Center. What is the maximum voltage supply at the Center?

We can supply up to 100V.

Q12: Can you perform the initial settings of equipment we bring in to the Center?

We will perform the physical connection of equipment you bring in to the Center to the Center’s equipment only. We do not install and set up OS and applications for equipment you bring in to the Center.

Q13: Can we perform the verification task via an external network connection?

Yes, you can. Note, however, that we cannot perform the settings of your equipment that are required for the connection. You have to do that yourself.

Q14: If the equipment we require is not available at the Center, can you provide it?

Basically, we offer only the services of equipment already installed at the Center.

Q15: Can we perform a simultaneous connection load test?

The Center is not equipped with software for performing the simultaneous connection load test.

Q16: Can we take out the equipment?

No. You can use the equipment at the Center only.

Q17: Can we use two or more equipment simultaneously?

Yes, you can. Note, however, that two or more equipment may not be available at the same time depending on the reservation statuses of other customers.
