Harmonious Center of Competency

Hitachi

Demonstration Menu List

We provide demonstrations concerning latest servers, storage, network equipment, and integrated management software. We help you to acquire a general understanding of a product, clarify the problems you face and propose solutions.

Harmonious Cloud

"Harmonious Cloud" is a solution that implements high-reliability and high-security cloud computing environments and provides total support from consultation for introducing cloud computing to design, construction, and operation/management of the system.

Integrated Service Platform BladeSymphony

The BladeSymphony integrated service platform is a new concept system proposed by Hitachi. It closely integrates the blade server, network equipment, and storage equipment and allows the user to perform seamless central control and operation management without having to be aware of the differences in platforms and complexities of systems. This demonstration introduces BladeSymphony and the system management software of BladeSymphony called "BladeSymphony Manage Suite."

Operation Management

This menu provides demonstrations focusing on the middleware "JP1" that manages the operation of servers, network, and storages.

JP1 Ready Series

This menu provides demonstrations of the operation and management product series "JP1 Ready Series," which comes in an all-in-one package developed for small-to-medium enterprises.

Storage Management Software--Hitachi Storage Command Suite

Hitachi Storage Command Suite is storage management software that responds to all kinds of issues in application and management of large-scale and complicated SAN/NAS environments with its extensive range of multifaceted functions.

Virtual Desktop Solution

It is necessary to implement sufficient measures for a client PC, for example, prevention of information leaks, reduction of system operation and management costs, and BCP (business continuity plan). This demonstration introduces a virtual desktop solution that can provide optimal solutions for these issues.

Biometrics Authentication

This menu shows Hitachi’s original biometric authentication technology "finger-vein authentication." This demonstration provides you with first-hand experience of the finger-vein authentication system.

μ-Chip

The RFID* "μ-Chip" developed by Hitachi is an ultra-miniature, highly advanced radio frequency automatic identification IC chip of a size reduced to the world’s smallest level. This menu provides application solution demonstrations for the 0.4mm-square μ-Chip.
*RFID (Radio Frequency Identification): A mechanism that identifies and manages an individual object using an extremely small radio microchip. It is expected that RFID will be developed and applied as merchandise identification and management technology in the distribution industry as an alternative to the barcode system.

Integrated Channel Solution FREIA21+

FREIA21+ is a solution that strengthens contact between a customer and financial institutions. It is a customer service platform for transmitting information to customers in three phases: "recognizing," "understanding," and "providing satisfaction."
The Harmonious Center of Competency has set up a hypothetical bank called "Harmonious Bank," which is used to demonstrate the FREIA21+ solution.

Batch processing speed-enhancement solution

This menu shows Hitachi’s batch processing speed-enhancement solution that can significantly improve processing performance by using a combination of virtualization technology and in-memory database technology.

Full-text Search Solution

Hitachi Full-text Search Solution performs a flexible full-text search operation of a database by applying the n-gram method to a search engine. Because it adopts the n-gram method, Hitachi Full-text Search Solution does not require complicated tasks for preventing search errors that result from overlooking information. Hitachi Full-text Search Solution can quickly retrieve required information since there is no oversight of information during a search.

Disaster Recovery System

This menu shows the mechanism that is used to recover the main information system by using the backup system at a remote location within a short period even if the service is shut down due to a natural disaster or other damages.
