Other Workflow facilities have been enhanced for version 03-00. Logo

Enhanced facilities for controlling the flow of work
Optional can be specified for the assignment of a worker to a work-item.
You can choose to specify workers who will approve or make decisions.
If you want to assign a specific worker, select Required and specify the worker's name. If you do not want to assign a specific worker, select Optional.

Work-items can be withdrawn in a multi-server environment.
Work-items can be withdrawn (or re-processed) even when the users who process the work-items are registered on different servers.

Boadcasted work-items can be sent back after they are collected.
You can send collected work-items back to a broadcasting node for rebroadcasting and define more flexible workflows.

The substitution facility has improved.
Seperate menus are provided for setting up substitute workers and substitute distribution.

The privilege of specified workers can be checked.
On each system, you can specify an option that grants you greater control over the node access priveleges assigned to workers by defining privileged position (i.e. Section Chief, Department Chief, etc.)
This option prohibits the specification of invalid workers when worker names are directly entered or selected from the personal address book.

Operation support
Utility for changing user definitions
You can specify or change substitute workers and suppress the work-item reception of a tray (distribution to substitues) in batch.
Also, a utility to output updated information (User Definition Information Output utility) is supported. For example, when there is a personnel shift in your office, you can easily update the defined users.

Improved view in Workflow Monitor
The business process list, role list, and user list of the Workflow Monitor window display the number of registered servers and work-items (or work instances).
Also, you can filter the displayed work-items based on search attributes.

Note: The client option for Groupmax Workflow Monitor Version 3 provides this function.

Faster performance for accomodating more users

The API performance of Workflow user login has improved.
When 1,000 users or more are registered in the Workflow system, they can log in much more faster than before.
If 3,000 users are registered on the system, the cost of logging in is roughly half the cost of logging in with version 02-31.
More users can log in faster and cheaper.

Servers start faster.
The server startup time has decreased. (Almost two thirds the startup time with version 02-31)

Enhanced client facility
The graphical user interface is enhanced.
Users in the same organization as the logged-in user are displayed in the dialog boxes for specifying workers, transferring work-items, and consulting. Therefore, you can find other users more easily in these dialog boxes without searching an entire organization.
