Groupmax Electronic Form, called Groupmax Form Version 3, allows you to:

Functions of Electronic Forms

The following describes the facilities of Electronic Form that help you achieve the above goals.

• You can computerize the processing of forms
  Processing forms entails many tasks, such as filling in the forms themselves, creating reports, and updating management databases. Groupmax Electronic Form enables you to computerize such tasks and thus improve efficiency.
  
  
  • From paper reports to electronic reports
    You can automate form processing tasks by computerizing forms and reports, and by creating applications to update databases.
    
    
  • Using e-mail and workflows
    Automation and computerization help reduce the time needed for handling your jobs and help rationalize the flow of jobs within your office.
    With Groupmax Electronic Form, you can use electronic seals and stamps on forms in the same way as you do in processing paper forms.

    Groupmax provides a facility for creating and modifying databases. A database on a server can be accessed and used on a client. Using databases enables you to handle large volumes of application data effectively.

  	Which databases can be used for Groupmax Electronic Form?
  	You can use ODBC-based databases for Electronic Form. You can also ISAM files, CSV files, and office server (elles7) database files.

  You can computerize form processing tasks by linking with e-mail and workflows.
  
  
  • Linking with e-mail
    You can send forms created by Groupmax Electronic Form via e-mail and attach the data required for processing those forms at the destination. You can prevent the alteration of data by affixing electronic seals to forms.
    
    
  • Linking with workflows
    You can automate the flow of form processing by linking with workflows. Using electronic seals, you can judge and approve the forms the same as you do paper forms.
  
  
• You can correlate basic jobs
  You can create a system that corresponds to the basic jobs in your business by combining various processes. You can also execute your jobs in client/server systems.
  
  
  • Executing jobs in batches
    After creating various processes, such as filling out forms, updating databases, and printing forms, you can combine these processes and execute them in a batch.

    Many kinds of Japanese commands are provided. Simply by combining such commands, you can create the processing suitable for your jobs.
    
    
  • Using spiral approach
    When you create jobs with Groupmax Electronic Form, you can execute and confirm them on the spot. You can easily modify and add screen formats and processing definitions.
