Checking the node access privilege of specified workers
Until now, you could check the node access priveleges assigned to workers by defining privileged position. This option is now strengthened, allowing you to check the node access privelege assigned to an organization to which workers belong. This option prohibits the specification of invalid workers (organizations) when worker names are directly entered or selected from the personal address book.
Improving work IDs
An option is now supported which prevents the overflow of digits and of maximum values of work IDs for each business process. This prevents malfunctions when you specify a work ID as database search key, but the number of ID digits or maximum value overflows.

Change User Definition utility
An automatic distribution key for users in a job role and a function for setting or changing the permission of managers in batches have been added. These are added in the Change User Definition utility which sets or changes the specifications for substitutes and reroutes work to others' trays (this called substitute work-item distribution) and in the Output User Definition Information utility.
This enables you to change user definitions in a batch after personnel shifts.
Change Role Definition utility
The Change Role Definition utility is now supported so you can set or change role information. The Output Role Definition Information utility is used with it as a convenience in viewing data. This enables you to change role definitions in a batch after personnel shifts.
Order to Distribute utility
The newly supported Order to Distribute utility helps you distribute the definition information about workflows (that is, the role information, business process information, and application information used in the business process) to each server.
By executing this utility with the Change User Definition and the Change Role Definition utilities, the server will update and distribute workflows in batches.
Expanding the RAS function in the Delete Work utility
A function that outputs log information and trace information to the Delete Work utility has been added. This simplifies the confirmation of execution results.
Expanding the RAS function in the Distribution function
A new function outputs the results when the definition information about a workflow (the role information, business process information, and application information used in the business process) is distributed to each server. This simplifies the confirmation of the execution results.

Supporting the API for obtaining the object identifiers
A new API obtains the object identifiers of the role, business process, user, case, and work.

When issuing an API for inputting object identifiers, this API will obtain just the object identifiers. This improves performance over the last version.
(Supported in Groupmax Workflow Server - Library Version 3 and in Groupmax Workflow Client - Library Version 3.)
Expanding the OCX menu
The OCX menu is filled out by adding an OCX for obtaining work status, an OCX for obtaining a send back candidates list, and an OCX for obtaining object identifiers.
(Supported in Groupmax Workflow Client - Library Version 3.)
Supporting the API for workflow management jobs
Version 3 also supports an API that allows you to create user applications that manage jobs in workflows.
For example, such an API might transfer a work-item from one person's tray to another's the way the workflow manager does, or it might send a work-item whose process time-limit has expired on to the next person.
