The operating-status information of Document Manager and Schedule Manager is collected at the administrator's terminal on which Groupmax System Manager - TCP/IP is running.
You can collect operating-status information for version 03-00 or later of Groupmax Document Manger and Groupmax Scheduler Server. The collected files are in CSV format, so you can edit and analyze them by common applications such as Microsoft Excel. You can collect operating-status information from both UNIX servers and NT servers.
You can collect the following information:
From Document Manger
Conditions of each server for each day
Information about document access by each user ID, for each day
Number of accesses and folder name, for each document
Number of Document Manager users, for each server
Information about document access, for each folder
Usage conditions, by department
From Scheduler Server
Number of accesses by each user ID
Number of Scheduler Server users, for each server
Usage conditions, by department
Operating-status information about mail collected by Groupmax Mail - Administrator Utilities can be transferred to the administrator's terminal on which Groupmax System Manager - TCP/IP is running. Therefore, you can manage operating-status information for Document Manager, Schedule Manager, and Mail integrated on the administrator's terminal.

The Groupmax System Manager - TCP/IP window displays a warning message whenever the database is reorganized. This provides you with real-time information about all database reorganizations.
You can use remote batch operations to collect error information about Groupmax servers; the information is collected to the administrator's terminal on which Groupmax System Manager - TCP/IP is running.
The error information can be output to tape, so you can request fast error analysis.
From the administrator's terminal on which Groupmax System Manager - TCP/IP is running, you can start or stop Groupmax servers, and monitor and display their statuses. The following facilities are supported:
Starting or stopping each facility
Specifying parameters for starting or stopping
Monitoring and displaying the status of each facility
Batch operation for multiple Groupmax servers
Displaying version information of Groupmax servers
Customizing the displayed status in detail (adding statuses such as starting, stopping, or partially running)
You can use batch operations from the administrator's terminal to start or stop Groupmax servers, and monitor and display their statuses.
When starting or stopping Groupmax servers, you (the system administrator) need not consider the dependency relationship between Groupmax servers, so you can start or stop them easily.
From the administrator's terminal on which Groupmax System Manager - TCP/IP is running, you can specify a schedule for an executable script file in which backup commands for Groupmax server programs are coded.
