Applying Microsoft Active Server Pages to Workflow

Groupmax Workflow for Active Server Pages provides an environment that uses Groupmax Workflow to create World Wide Web applications.

Groupmax Workflow for Active Server Pages (abbreviated as Groupmax Workflow for ASP hereafter) uses Microsoft Active Server Pages to create a script that can easily customize a Workflow system.
For example, work-items selected in the Business window can be accepted or rejected on a Web browser according to users' statuses.

Overview

The following gives an overview of developing and processing business applications using Groupmax Workflow for ASP.

Create users' business applications based on HTML using VB Script or Java Script.
Groupmax Workflow for ASP can use VB Script.
Save users' business applications created with Groupmax Workflow for ASP on an Internet Information Server (that is called IIS hereafter).
When a user calls the URL of a user's business application from his or her Web browse, an ASP file for the corresponding URL is analyzed and a script is executed on the server.
If the script on the server includes a call to Groupmax Workflow for Active Server Pages, it is called and it processes a workflow.
