The following section describes the enhancements in the electronic conference system (Groupmax-related product IntraForum 01-10) using the Web browser in the intranet environment.

1. Single login function with Groupmax World Wide Web Desktop

Earlier versions provided the Groupmax user authentication function. This version provides the single login function with Groupmax World Wide Web Desktop Version 5, thereby enabling use of electronic conferences in an environment linked with Groupmax. You can also send conference notifications.

2. Facility for opening and closing conferences

A facility is provided for opening and closing conferences automatically in accordance with a fixed term. The use of this facility enables the holding of a conference for which a term is fixed.

3. Archive facility for conferencing

An additional archive facility for conferencing is provided as a new facility. The use of the archive facility enables the storing of conference data in files. Examples of using this function are given below.

(a) Closed conferences can be stored in files.
Storing closed conferences in files by using the archive facility reduces the data resources. Conferences can also be restored on demand.

(b) Archive files can be used as backup copies of data.
Backup copies of important conferences can also be useful in case the original data is damaged or lost.
