Remote users can exploit these vulnerabilities and execute malicious scripts.
This problem can occur when the following conditions are met:
- The java.util.Locale object is acquired using the getLocale method or getLocales method of the javax.servlet.ServletRequest class.
- The java.util.Locale object value is output as an HTTP response without escaping special characters.
