Need to strengthen client PC security in various ways?
Client security from four perspectives

Present issues

Not all security holes can be covered. Confidential information was leaked from unlicensed software. Removable media was lost, causing the release of confidential information. Unauthorized operations by users, such as copying or printing confidential information, cannot be detected.

After Implementing JP1 IT Compliance

All client PCs are centrally managed and vulnerable PCs automatically remedied - Don't allow to connect. Startup of unlicensed software is inhibited - Don't allow to use. Copying onto removable media and outputting to printers without permission are inhibited - Don't allow information dissemination. "Who does What, How, When and Where" is totally traced - Don't overlook.

Products used in this solution

IT Compliance

Client Security Management
(Don't allow to connect, Don't overlook)
Manages the client PCs in accordance with security policy, disconnecting PCs from the network, sending a warning message to the user, or taking other necessary action depending on the risk level of client PCs.
Unauthorized PC Monitoring and Blocking System
(Don't allow to connect, Don't overlook)
Disconnects unauthorized PCs connected to the network, and prevents access by client PCs which contravene operational rules, including those which have not installed mandated software or contain incomplete anti-virus measures.
Software Distribution and Inventory Management
(Don't allow to use, Don't overlook)
Prevents unauthorized software from being activated, and deters illegal operations or actions by informing the perpetrator that they are being monitored, or telling them that the operation is disallowed, through monitoring of client PC usage.
Prevention of Information Leakage
(Don't allow information dissemination, Don't overlook)
Inhibits the copying of data onto removable media (e.g. FD, CD/DVD, USB memory), and the printing of data without permission.

Explanation of solution

To establish and maintain IT-based compliance, the management of client PCs in accordance with IT policy is imperative.
Risks which may arise from taking important data outside the company, use of privately owned PCs for business or virus-infected PCs need to be managed according to the type of risks involved.
JP1 implements client management from four perspectives - "Don't allow to connect", "Don't allow to use", "Don't allow information dissemination" and "Don't overlook" to help the organization maintain appropriate security.
"Who does What, How, When and Where" is totally traced - Don't overlook.
