JP1 can centrally monitor the status of business systems on multiple platforms, as well as a wide range of events that occur on those systems and in networks, servers, applications and virtual environments.
(Central console screen)
Business process operations distributed across the entire system can be monitored as groups in a tree based structure. This can include servers, processes, and resources. When a failure occurs, the servers and applications involved can be identified by simply tracing through the tree. It is easy to see and predict the impact of failures, including the affected operations in the group, and helps in preventing chained failures and efficiently managing any failures that do occur.
(Monitoring tree)
JP1 provides the capability to flexibly limit events transferred to the manager and restrict events monitored by individual users by the utilization of filters. This limits the network resources required to transfer event messages, whilst focusing on the events that are critical to system operations.
The location of a failure can be identified by observing icons that change color to indicate a failure. This allows intuitive operation without needing to be aware of the underlying monitoring tree structure. The monitor screens can be customized with selected backgrounds and icons to accurately reflect the components within the system.
(Visual monitoring)

Visual monitoring
An easy to operate GUI allows the Administrator to change and manage server configurations, including those in virtual environments. The Administrator can also create profiles for the managed servers that control access by Operators to specific parameters.

Server configuration management
Commands can be automatically triggered for execution on receipt of a specific event. Automatic actions can also be launched on the occurrence of an abnormal condition on a business process operation (monitoring group) basis.
The response to an incident can be automated by defining the actions taken to resolve it as a set of rules. If it reoccurs, it can be resolved rapidly by utilizing the rules. The actions to be recorded include: detection, investigation, judgment and resolution of each incident.
