When a client PC fails to meet the required level of security, appropriate action is taken in accordance with specified security policies.
The security level of client PCs can be checked to produce statistics for each department to gauge compliance with IT policy. Alternatively, the information gathered can be used to judge how well specific security measures are being implemented.

JP1 assigns a risk level to client PCs based on the type and number of security measures that it fails and then automatically executes a defined action for that risk level. For example, JP1 can send a warning message to client PCs with out of date antivirus definitions files.
Security policy for preferred antivirus products is automatically updated when the versions of the engine or the definitions files change, or the patch level of the antivirus product is updated. Security policy is also automatically updated when a new Windows® patch is released.
When a client PC without network connection permission is detected, the unauthorized PC is forcibly disconnected. Since the function pinpoints and disconnects only unauthorized clients, communications by authorized machines is not affected.

Expansion to a quarantine system
JP1 quickly detects PCs in violation of security policy, and can automatically isolate them and apply appropriate remedies. When the violations are remedied the isolated PC has its connection to the business network restored.
