JP1 provides tools for creating, updating and deleting large numbers of jobs using batch processing operations. This capability greatly eases management operations in large scale systems, such as the addition of servers, or migrating jobs from development to production environments.
Job batch definition option
For systems with multiple distributed servers JP1 supports operations via a web browser. Operators can monitor and manage job execution via the browser and perform routine tasks such as suspending and restarting job operations.
Web browser operation option
Brings an advanced job control language to Microsoft Windows® system environments. Using a visually based editor job control scripts can be developed in a language similar to BASIC greatly improving productivity when automating complex batch jobs.
With the JP1 ERP interaction option SAP® ERP jobs can be seamlessly integrated into the execution schedule, providing increased efficiencies for both SAP® and overall business operations.

With the JP1 OS/400® linkage option OS/400® system jobs can be seamlessly integrated into the execution schedule, providing increased efficiencies for the entire job operation.
JP1 provides enhanced functions to automate and improve efficiency of file 1 transfer operations. Files can be smoothly transmitted/received as a part of normal job operation, data can be transferred using a schedule, and programs can be automatically started after the files have been received.
