| Product | Overview |
|---|---|
| JP1/IM - View | This is a viewer product for connecting to and managing JP1/Integrated Management - Manager and JP1/Integrated Management - Rule Operation. It provides a GUI for monitoring and operating JP1/Integrated Management - Manager and JP1/Integrated Management - Rule Operation. |
| JP1/IM - Manager | This is an integrated console manager product for centralized monitoring and operation of multiple servers and various application programs comprising distributed systems, from a single terminal. The console provided by JP1/Integrated Management - View can establish a connection to this product, to monitor events that occur on distributed systems as JP1 events, and issue commands to the management machine. Central scope can also be used to allow the system administrator to group the business, server, process, memory, and other statuses on a system by objective or viewpoint (by server or business), and monitor them in a monitoring tree. Systems can be configured with multiple layers, for the efficient management of large-scale systems. IM configuration management can also be used to manage host information, virtualized environment configurations, IM configurations, and JP1/Base settings information. Up to 1,024 machines can be managed under this product, including submanagers and agents. Note that this product contains a development kit (SDK) for customizing JP1/Integrated Management - Manager function. |
| JP1/IM - EG for NNMi | This is a gateway product for obtaining NNMi incidents registered with the network management platform product HP Network Node Manager i Software 8.10, and converting the incidents to JP1 events. JP1/Integrated Management - Manager can perform integrated management by using JP1 events that include network management information. |
| JP1/IM - RL | This product supports autonomic system operation. This allows handling operations performed by an administrator to be automated by defining each investigation, judgment, and handling process in advance, for when failure (a JP1 event) occurs on the system. The results of automatic executions can be saved in a CSV-format file as a history. By analyzing the results, system performance can be improved. The import and export of rule definitions can be used to back up and restore rule definitions, or to perform migration to another system easily. |
