Features of New Products

JP1/Performance Management - Agent Option for Virtual Machine
(hereafter referred to as JP1/PFM - Agent for VM)

JP1/PFM - Agent for VM is the agent product of JP1/Performance Management, which monitors operating performance of virtual environment(VMware) and collects performance data.
Resources, such as CPU, a memory, a disk, and a network, are supervised from each viewpoint of a physical server and a virtual machine, and support operation optimization in virtual environment by collecting operation information.

JP1/Performance Management - Remote Monitor
(hereafter referred to as JP1/PFM - RM)

JP1/PFM - RM is the agent product of JP1/Performance Management, and monitors the operating status of the server remotely without installing monitoring agent to the servers to be monitored.

The following three products are offered depending on the monitoring target:

  • JP1/Performance Management - Remote Monitor for Platform
  • JP1/Performance Management - Remote Monitor for Oracle
  • JP1/Performance Management - Remote Monitor for Microsoft® SQL Server

Operation monitoring optimization is supported for each server by combining the method to monitor detailed information by the agent monitoring and the method to monitor basic information by the agent-less monitoring depends on the importance of monitoring target servers.
Also, Agent-less monitoring of virtual environment is supported by combining JP1/PFM - Agent for VM.

JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 (hereafter referred to as JP1/AJS3)

JP1/AJS3 is the follow-on products of JP1/Automatic Job Management System 2 (hereafter referred to as JP1/AJS2), which took over the precise and flexible scheduling function from JP1/AJS2.

Enhancements in Version 9 are described below:

  • The execution performance improves by multiplexing the job execution control
  • Enhancement of operability by for-purpose view and improvement in efficiency of business development and operation
  • Improvement in efficiency of business operation by automatic switching of planned business

In the near future, JP1 version 9 will be gradually available in China, Europe, and the US.
