Recently, corporate managements have realized that the implementation of internal control is impossible without IT and that the maintenance and improvement of the service quality of IT systems is impossible without ITIL®.
The following describes Hitachi's approach to its support for introducing the set of best practices for IT service management known as ITIL®. The focus is on JP1 operating as a tool that supports the optimization of IT service operations.
SOA (service-oriented architecture)
The idea behind SOA is to create the necessary functions for operation as reusable services and to combine these services into a system. The "SOA at Hitachi" section describes Hitachi's services and solutions that support operations from upstream consulting to maintenance with Cosminexus as the core component.
