The autonomous decentralized system (ADS) is Hitachi's unique system with high reliability, expandability, maintainability, connectivity, and versatility that solves many problems in business, industry, and academia. Hitachi offers the autonomous decentralized system as a core technology for system solutions.
The ADS that has been developed by Hitachi and whose interface specifications is made open to the public is now undergoing a standardization process in which many participants participate, such as makers, system vendors, end users, and R&D institutes of businesses and universities. It is a system architecture born in Japan and used by many people around the world.
In November 2003, "Technology of Autnomous Decentralized System Network (ADS-net)" is approved as the international Standard (ISO15745).
